Purcell’s Villa is a recently renovated, light-filled family home tucked into a quiet street in Constantia — one of Cape Town’s most sought-after residential suburbs and the heart of the Cape Winelands. The Home

Sleeping up to 6 adults and 2 children across four bedrooms, Purcell’s Villa offers generous living on two levels. The ground floor centres on a bright, open-plan lounge and dining room that flows seamlessly to the pool and covered braai area — the kind of layout that makes Cape Town summers feel effortless.

The fully equipped kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, and a separate scullery with washing machine and tumble dryer. Guest toilet on the ground floor. The entire home runs on borehole water (filtered), with municipal water available at the fridge and one tap.

Upstairs, all four bedrooms enjoy the views — especially the main bedroom, which has a king bed, full en-suite bathroom, and air conditioning. The second bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a family bathroom; bedroom 4, fitted with two singles, is ideal for children. All bedrooms have TVs with full DSTV and WiFi throughout.

A Note on Cape Town Winters

June to August brings cold, wet weather — perfectly normal for our coastal climate. The home has heating throughout and the pool can be heated on request (electricity at guest cost). Pack warm layers and rain gear, and you’ll find the off-season has its own quiet charm.
