It is a perfect place to stay if you wish to have a quiet seaside holiday away from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town city living, but still wish to dip into what Cape Town has to offer – just what our London family of 4 was looking for. Its secure and private location close to a semi private beach and beautiful panoramic views of the bay meant that there was no need to squabble about the days agenda; beach goers could set off to the beach and late starters could follow at their leisure. If you are interested in marine life, as is my husband, a treasure trove (as featured in David Attenborough’s Blue Planet II) awaits you in the kelp beds in front of the house. There is also the jackass penguins to observe, who inhabit the surrounding area and are a source of delight to our youngest son. The house is well equipped, charmingly decorated with comfortable beds and a garage to park the car. All in all a fantastic holiday was had by all.
