Marina Da Game Lake Holiday Home in Muizenberg Accommodation:

Looking for an amazing interior? Do you love fun? The sun? Peaceful lake? Water and birds? Nature? Then try this wonderfully relaxed home on the lakes – a really peaceful setting. All our guests love it.

It’s a three-bedroom home with stylish decor, and then the lake with all its birds and nature. A real fun place for old and young.

The space
Peaceful and fun for everyone. We understand why people love Marina.

Where else can you have what you’ve got here? Your own piece of heaven!”

This Marina da Gama Holiday Home in Muizenberg Accommodation is amongst these white-walled homes – like Greece.

But this one is enclosed, private and on the lake. And the owner is an artist Architect. We just love the interior.

The “geese arrive at your doorstep showing off their young. Or Mr Bles (the coot) is chasing the ducks with greater vigour and we notice that Arthur and Martha (the Crested Grebes) are back doing their complicated mating dance up and down the canal.

This is not just another self-catering home.

You are near the Muizenberg beaches, close to Cape Town but who wants to go anywhere if you’re staying at this modern home.

As you walk through the high-walled gate you enter the very private garden. Next to the lounge and dining room. With outside lounge.

The house is built in an L shape. On the left is the double garage, followed by the three rooms – one en-suite.

Now you can choose to walk out onto the deck next to (on top of) the lake or to the lounge area.

The lake deck is where the “piece (peace) of heaven” exists. Quietly you can watch the birds or you get into the pedal boat and off you go.

If this is not a family paradise then I don’t know. You and your party have access to this private home and a lockable garage. You don’t share with anyone. The lake is obviously not yours alone.

We are there to make your stay a pleasure.

The neighborhood consists of similar houses all along the lakes. Designed for privacy.

Some are on the water like this one. Others not. These homes are loved by families with kids due to all the water activities. There are also some holiday home in Muizenberg with retired people. The community is very conscious of nature and especially water and the birds flocking to water.

A car is important. You can use taxis to get to the nearest station in Holiday Home in Muizenberg. Cape Town is 20 to 25 mins away. All the Constantia wine farms are just around the corner and Holiday Home in Muizenberg 10 mins away.

Guest access: Everything is yours. The paddleboat and canoes included.

Other things to note
The lake is open. And all people must be able to swim.
